Project 4 - Traditional Bathroom

Porcelain Floor Tiles | Harrogate Tiler

My client in Harrogate wanted to create a beautiful en-suite using a timeless design and traditional theme. I think the results speak for themselves.

The old bathroom was split into 2 rooms with the toilet being seperated from the bathroom. To maximise the available space, this dividing wall was the first thing to go (along with the old suite).

The following prep work then went into the flooring to make it that bit extra special upon completion. 6mm Insulation Boards, Self-Levelling Compound, Underfloor Heating (With digital thermostat) and then of course the beautiful wood-effect porcelain tiles.

The stepped formation used to install these tiles really helps to achieve the 'Traditional' look, along with the light grey grout used.

With the flooring looking sharp, the shower enclosure was also then tiled using matt white ceramic tiles. A simple, yet very effective choice. The wood panelling (not installed by Harrogate Tiling Co) finishes off the job nicely.
